Teams

SPPIN is organised into eight scientifically autonomous research teams, spanning molecular and cellular neuroscience, neurophysiology, biophysics, imaging and behaviour, supported by a shared Core Unit for transversal technologies and collaborative projects. On major strength of our institute is the complementarity of expertise, bringing together optical physics, advanced imaging, electrophysiology, molecular biology and systems neuroscience. We actively promotes cross-team collaboration through transversal research axes, shared infrastructure and technology development. This combination gives SPPIN a strong capacity for multiscale, interdisciplinary research, supported by state-of-the-art instrumentation and a collaborative scientific culture.
